Art is such a rewarding expression of emotion, a retreat from reality. I enjoy the freedom of watercolors and mixed media experimental painting.
I love the morning and often walk in a garden early to capture the fresh blossoms in the early morning sun. There is usually a painting not far behind in my imagination.
To get the feeling of warm sun on the blossoms and maybe a playful breeze marching them around in their beautiful place in the garden…is all I need to get me started.
I have said many times, “Time spent painting is a time one doesn’t age!“
